BTRCMy road to perdition began in the mid-1980's by saying "This game sucks! I could do better myself..." Once I said that, my fate was sealed. I'm trying, thus far unsuccessfully, to break out of games and get some conventional fiction published. If more people would buy my games, I'd be able to buy enough pizza to keep me from starving while getting enough writing practice to get some fiction published, which would then generate enough money that I could afford to design and publish more games...Seriously, if you care, I have a few dozen magazine articles and numerous playtest credits under my belt, and have done work for Steve Jackson Games, Hero Games, Fantasy Flight Games, Sovereign Press, Sanguine Productions, Lange Games, Gameworld, Imperium Games and maybe a few others I've forgotten, along with a few dozen titles under my own BTRC imprint. My strong suits are realistic systems and weapons and infrastructure design, yet somehow my most successful and popular title has been Macho Women with Guns.
